Moving Forward Together

We are so humbled and blessed with the way folks have weathered the storm of COVID-19 and construction at our building. In a time where it is hard to make decisions for groups of people, the elders do so with the weight of doing the most good for the most people.

Construction has been moving forward and we are grateful to God for that. The HVAC is now hooked up! The drywall has been sanded ! A crew of volunteers showed up to help install insulation and clean the sanctuary! Because of these glorious things we will be able to meet at the building this Sunday!!

As we gather, remember that our building is still under construction. Here are a few directions so we can make worshiping together in person a reality:

1) You are able to park on the future parking lot. The crush and run is fine to park on.

2) Please only enter through and exit through the front doors to the sanctuary.

3) The only space we are able to use right now is the main floor (as the basement is not safe). Parents keep your children next to you and people should not go downstairs.

4) If you need to step out for a bit, the Office Space behind the sanctuary will be available and have our Live Stream going.

5) We will have two lines to take the Lord’s Supper together. While we still cannot take from the same loaf yet, pieces of bread will be cut for you to take.

6) Because we cannot socially distance with the amount of people the Lord has been blessing our church with, the elders request that everyone wear face coverings.

7) We would also encourage you to stay afterwards and step outside to fellowship and catch up on life.

Being together is a gift that we are thankful to God for. As we continue to move forward together, we want to let you know we have been continually talking about how we can gather safely. While there are less than ideal things we have to do, gathering together is worth the sacrifice.

There are some very positive pieces falling into place so that we see light at the end of the tunnel. For the time being, we would request for all of us to continue to wear face coverings until we can re-evaluate in the next couple months.

We look forward to seeing you all in a couple days!!

Grace to All of You,
The Pastors of Christ the Redeemer
